Dill

Background Information:
Dill is available in the early fall. It is a great herb to complement eggs, fish, potatoes and vegetable dishes.

Basic Usage and Cooking Strategies:
Chop and add fresh to chicken salad, tuna salad or egg salad. Season fish or add to an omelets. Dill can be added to sour cream or yogurt for an easy dip for vegetables or salad dressing.

Storage Information:
Wash the dill in order to remove any remaining dirt and dust. Store wrapped in a damp towel in a plastic bag or container. Use within 4-5 days.
Hang upside down in a warm place to dry in a week or so, crumble the leaves away from the stems and store in a glass container.
